Hey, there!! Welcome back to blogs. Today's topic is going to be a very Interesting topic, because in my last blog I asked my readers to send the topic which they want me to write. So the first comment was related to this topic. Don't worry, if you also want to send me your opinion, hurry up go to my previous blog (Concept cars and Electric cars) and write it. So, let's start!
(Bloodhound LSR has a max speed of 628 MPH as per the data of 2020)
Definition:- Land Speed Racing Car
Land speed racing is a form of motorsport. Land speed racing is also very well known for breaking the absolute Land Speed record, but is not limited to specialist vehicles. LSR stands for Land Speed Record.
I have a video related to Bloodhound LSR. You can watch it so you can get some more information about it.👇
So now let's know some facts about the amazing Land Speed Racing.
Land speed record :- The land speed record is the highest speed achieved by a person using a vehicle on land.
The current holder of the Outright World Speed Record is Thrust SSC driven by Andy Green, a twin turbofan jet-powered car which achieved 763.035 mph- 1227.985 km/hr- over one mile in October 1997.
Thrust 2 - in which Richard Noble set a new land speed record at 633 mph in 1983- is centred around a single Rolls-Royceengine.
No one knows how close Thrust 2 came to a crashy disaster.
Here are the names of some of the great LCR cars :-
The Blue Flame 👆 was driven by American racing car driver Gary Gabelich, the rocket-powered Blue Flame achieved a world land speed record on 23 October 1970. This record remained unbroken until Thrust 2 achieved it in 1983.
After Thrust 1 crashed in 1977, its driver Richard Noble improved the design and went on to build, and pilot, Thrust 2 👆. On 4 October 1983, Thrust broke Blue flame's world land speed record. It was powered by a single Rolls- Royce Avon turbojet engine.
Bloodhound SSC 👆 is a supersonic car (And my favorite Land Speed Racing car too... ) currently being developed with the aim of beating the current land speed record. This pencil-shaped car is powered by a jet engine and a rocket.
Origin : UK
Speed : About 1,600 km/hr (1000 mph)
Length : 13.5 m (44 ft)
I have a video which tells us about the aerodynamics of Bloodhound LSR. Please watch it carefully as aerodynamics is one of the most important factors about these cars 👇
Beginning: Not long before the 60th commemoration of the marque, Lamborghini revealed Revuelto, the primary HPEV (High Performance Electrified Vehicle) crossover super games vehicle. With the Revuelto, Lamborghini has laid out another benchmark in execution, on-board innovation, and driving joy. A definitive rush given by the Revuelto is arrived at thanks to a powertrain that conveys 1015 CV aggregate, consolidating the force of a pristine 12-chamber gas powered motor with three high-thickness electric engines and a weighty cross-over double grasp e-gearbox. The force of hybridization is tackled to take execution and driving feelings to an exceptional level. Its exterior: The Revuelto respects the Lamborghini custom and ushers in another time even in its outside plan. While the vehicle's outline follows the famous single community line, the pointedly etched lines and smooth negative sweeps make a cutting-edge shape that puts the Revuelto undeniably in the new age of Lamborghini s...
Sports cars may be flashy, fun, and exciting, but even the most overcharged rides pale in comparison to a supercar. Since the 2000s or 2010s the term hypercar has come into use for the highest performing SUPERCARS. Supercar, when we hear this word we think about cars like Ferrari812 superfast or Lamborghini terzo or Tesla model S. Well supercars are not only about speed but also about how smooth does the car works, its suspension and interior . The person driving it must feel like he is in another world or fantasy. Now it is time to clarify all the doubts you have . Q.1. What Makes a Car a Supercar? Ans. The obvious answer is speed, both in terms of top speed and acceleration. In a hierarchy that begins with sports cars and ends with hypercars, supercars are the high-performance middle, featuring vehicles that are more than capable of tearing up the track and leaving common sports cars in the dust. Q.2. What is The Difference Between a Supercar and a Sports Car? Ans. W...
